The Kings' Offensive Firepower was Unstoppable

You watched the Kings-Hornets game last night, right? If you didn't, go check the box score. Sacramento absolutely torched Charlotte, winning 123-93. Domantas Sabonis was a beast, putting up 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. That's a classic Sabonis line, the kind that makes fantasy managers sleep easy.

De'Aaron Fox wasn't far behind with 21 points and 7 dimes. He only needed 27 minutes to do it. Malik Monk came off the bench to add 20 points in just 22 minutes, hitting five threes. That's efficiency fantasy gold right there. When the Kings are clicking like that, they're a nightmare for opponents, and a dream for your fantasy roster.

LaMelo Ball's Return, Despite the Loss, was Promising

Yeah, the Hornets got blown out. But let's talk about LaMelo Ball. He came back after missing 20 games with an ankle sprain and didn't look rusty. Ball dropped 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists in 27 minutes. The shot wasn't falling great (5-for-16), but the playmaking was there.

His assist numbers are a huge boon for category leagues. And frankly, with Terry Rozier gone, Ball is going to have an even bigger usage rate. Look, the Hornets are bad. Really bad. But that just means more opportunities for LaMelo to stuff the stat sheet. Fantasy managers who held onto him through the injury slump are about to be rewarded. Miles Bridges added 24 points and 6 rebounds, a solid fantasy performance in a losing effort.

The Fantasy Outlook for Both Sides

Here's the thing: this game reinforced what we already know. Sabonis is a triple-double threat every night, cementing his status as a top-tier fantasy big man. Fox is a high-volume scorer and passer. Monk is a fantastic bench piece who can provide instant offense and threes.

For Charlotte, it's all about LaMelo. He's the engine. He'll get his stats, even if the team loses by 30. Brandon Miller looked good with 16 points, but he's still figuring things out. The Hornets are still a few pieces away, and frankly, that's good for fantasy production from their top guys. Less competition for shots and touches. My slightly controversial opinion? LaMelo Ball, fully healthy, will finish the season as a top-15 fantasy player, despite the Hornets' dismal record.

Bold prediction: The Kings will finish as a top-four seed in the Western Conference, and Sabonis will flirt with another All-NBA selection.
